KeyMark, a leading provider of business process automation solutions, was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina (#bestplacessc) for the third consecutive year. The company was ranked number 34 on the list of small/medium employers during an awards dinner held on August 2nd at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center. The thirteenth annual program was created by SC Biz News in partnership with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best employers in the state of South Carolina, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce and business culture. The list is made up of 75 finalists that are split between small/medium employers and large employers with 250 or more employees.
To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
- be a publicly or privately held business;
- have a facility in the state of South Carolina;
- have a minimum of 15 employees working in the state of South Carolina; and
- be in business a minimum of 1 year
Companies from across the state were nominated for the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in South Carolina. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics, representing 25% of the score. The second part represented 75% of the score and consisted of an anonymous employee survey to measure the employee experience.
“It is exciting to see KeyMark make the Best Places to Work list for three years in a row,” said Jim Wanner, chief expectations officer at KeyMark. “This award is particularly special because it involves anonymous support from our employees, and it directly reflects that the environment we’re creating for our company is contributing to our continued success. Here at KeyMark, we’ve found that if you’re a great company to work for, you’re probably a great company to work with.”
