What’s the most unusual item in your desk drawer?

A large rubber parrot that straps onto your shoulder, like a pirate. I think the reasoning is self-explanatory.

What music do you listen to when no one is around?

I cycle between Disney music and punk rock. You can usually catch me singing Gaston very loudly in the car on the way to work.

If you could tell the next generation one thing, what would it be?

Don’t worry, we’re all just making it as we go. You’ll never have it all figured out and that’s perfectly fine.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

I’m typically busy keeping up with my two boys and three dogs at home, but I also enjoy cooking and prepping Dungeons and Dragons sessions for our KeyMark D&D team.

What is your favorite quote, and why?

“I have no idea what I’m doing, but I know I’m doing it really, really well.” – Andy Dwyer Besides just being a great quote from Parks & Rec, I think it’s a universal feeling of having no clue what you’re doing in life. It’s also my general approach to parenting: I’m making it up as I go, but my kids seem to be doing pretty well.

At age 10, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a politician and eventually be President, which is probably the thing I least want to do now.

If your future self could send a note to your current self, what would it say?

“The winning lottery numbers for next week are……”
