KeyMark Inc., a leader in the enterprise content management (ECM) software industry, was named the 17th fastest growing company in South Carolina during the 2016 South Carolina’s Fastest Growing Companies Competition Awards. Presented by the Capital Corporation and co-sponsored by Integrated Media Publishing (publisher of Greenville Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly and Charleston Magazine), BDO USA, LLP, and Nelson Mullins, the annual list has recognized the 25 fastest growing companies in South Carolina since 2004. Rankings were unveiled on October 25 during an awards ceremony at the Columbia Marriott.
To be eligible for the South Carolina 25 Fastest Growing Companies Awards, the company must be headquartered in South Carolina, be in business for at least three years, and show revenues of over $3M. Companies are judged on the growth of their income over the last three years, and the growth of their employment.
While the 2016 South Carolina’s Fastest Growing Companies Competition Awards reflects growth through the end of 2015, KeyMark has also achieved a number of milestones in 2016. These include:
- During the 2016 Team OnBase Leadership Retreat in March, KeyMark received the prestigious Diamond Award and Platinum Partner Status Award from Hyland, creator of OnBase.
- In August, the company was recognized as a Pennsylvania Fastest Growing Company by the Central Pennsylvania Business Journal (KeyMark operates a regional office and BPO and Conversion Services in Camp Hill and West Hazleton, Penn).
- Also in August, KeyMark was ranked 19th in the state of South Carolina as one of the Best Places to work by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and the SC BIZ News.
Aside from KeyMark’s products and services, much of the company’s success is attributed to its sustained, positive relationships with partners, customers, and staff.
“From day one, it’s always been about people,” said Jim Wanner, chief expectations officer at KeyMark. “The driving force behind our growth and success revolves around our investment in people – from who we hire to who we work with. We are honored to not only have been named to such a prestigious list, but also to be recognized among a group of dynamic and successful companies who have also contributed to South Carolina’s economy through revenues and employment.”
