Global fabric leader Glen Raven Inc. has engaged KeyMark Inc., an award-winning document management solution provider, to engineer and implement a shared services accounts payable environment to enable Glen Raven to gain greater efficiencies and improve processes. The engagement between Glen Raven and KeyMark will also enable Hyland Software to reach its 10,000 client milestone. As an authorized provider of Hyland Software’s OnBase solution, KeyMark has helped deploy OnBase and provide ongoing support to companies throughout the country.
Headquartered in Glen Raven, North Carolina, Glen Raven Inc. is a global leader in performance fabrics best known for its flagship brands, Sunbrella and Dickson. KeyMark, a company with broad expertise implementing document management shared services solutions, will assist Glen Raven in establishing an advanced electronic workflow system and data extraction solution for invoice processing.
“Our accounts payable operations are quite complex,” said Richard Cartner, executive accountant at Glen Raven. “We have invoices processed at multiple locations, and not all of our locations use the same accounts payable processing systems. We wanted to find a way to streamline our accounts payable operations through document management. We’re pleased that the shared services solution KeyMark is helping us implement will integrate with our existing systems. We are also looking forward to the efficiencies we can gain by cutting back on the manual tasks such as invoice matching and routing invoices for approvals and problem resolutions. We anticipate this initiative will help us reduce costs, increase efficiencies and improve customer service.”
To help Glen Raven meet its business goals, KeyMark will implement AnyDoc’s AnyApp technology and Hyland’s OnBase enterprise content management solution.
“The solution will capture both paper and electronic invoices, extract data from the invoices, match against purchase orders and identify questionable data” said Victoria Newman, vice president of sales and marketing at KeyMark. “After data capture, the invoices will be imported into an electronic workflow system, where invoices will be checked for duplicates, posted for payment and routed for exception handling. An electronic workflow system will give Glen Raven users the ability to have a real-time view on where documents are at all times and provide management with better visibility of its obligations and processes.”
